Buyers read these 5 star reviews with caution! This Solar Electric Handbook by SEI, a training institute based in Colorado, has 8 other reviews posted here at the time of this writing. All these have given 5 star rating to this book. Please note that none of these 8 reviewers have “Amazon verified purchase” identified next to their names, and the dates of these 5 star comments are quite close to one another. My feeling is that these reviewers are most likely friends of the SEI, to help increase their sales.I have reviewed a copy of this book, given to me by a friend who decided to purchase it based on all these inflated ratings on Amazon. My take is that it explains the fundamentals of Solar PV installation at mostly “residential level” quite well. It is written in clear language, with good PV fundamentals content & colorful pictures. The book is not really geared towards…
