UPDATED: Works well! Very bright light is provided by this unit! The solar panel itself appeared very well made. The light fixture appeared well made for what it is: a lightweight plastic cup with a bank of L.E.D. bulbs (behind a clear plastic cover) in it. The mounting bracket for the outdoor solar panel is two pieces: a base plate you attach to the outdoor mounting surface, plus a short, round stem that pushes into (friction-fits) into the base while the other end slides into a key-way slot on the back of the solar panel. The solar panel cannot be adjusted to different angles to catch the sun efficiently…the mounting base is at a fixed angle, so you may need to install the base on a wedge-shaped piece to aim the solar panel correctly.Nothing keeps the solar panel securely attached to it’s base pieces other than the friction-fit. I can envision a strong wind rattling the pieces apart…or lifting the solar panel off of it’s mounting base.I will make it work for my purpose by rigging it to my existing adjustable bracket…
