These mounts fit perfectly to the panel with just one bolt and nut that goes easily into the pre drilled hole on the bottom of the panel.There are two “fingers” that snug it up to the side of the panel and keep it tight and square.Two things.For my application on the “roof” of my small cabin cruiser.1. In order to fit them on, I must mount them on top of the roof windows. I would like to be able to open them at least a couple inches, so I need to figure out a spacer between the mounts and the roof. I am thinking 1 1/2 inch or 2. Maybe hard rubber or cutting pieces of white plastic cutting board. Any ideas?
