The Gutter LightTM solar light has been redesigned for extra brightness, is compact so it can be stowed away in a backpack making it easy to tote around for backpacking and camping. What makes this product so unique is the detachable solar light head, which can be detached and reattached to the attachment mounting bar so that it doubles as a portable flashlight in case of emergencies where it can also be use outside or brought indoors for night long illumination inside the home.
After each use it is easily reattached to the base for additional charging and used for its primary use of perimeter lighting, or just lighting stairways, fences, and other accessible areas around the home.

DISAPPOINTING ! First of all, don’t expect this gutter light to throw a lot of light, even though it’s equippedwith LED’s. Don’t be fooled by the photos on the sellers’ site.We bought four of them, for each main corner of our house, thinking and hopingthat these light would be adequate for those times when our other exterior lights wouldfail during power outages.These lights throw a very limited amount of light, and no where near our expectations.When we installed them, we deliberately turned off our exterior lights for the first nightof testing. Needless to say, we were VERY DISAPPOINTED. These lights should sell foraround $5.00, and not the $16+ we paid.And the bottom collar, which is removable, only protects the exposed bulbs. The collaris held in place with two snap-tabs, and it’s vulnerable to popping off. So try not tofix the light to a very high location. You may need to re-install the collar now and…
