Exactly what I was looking for! I looked and looked for the perfect iced tea glasses. I wanted something: beautifully minimalist (no grooves, or dots, or whatever), large (20 oz.), dishwasher safe, and made with good quality glass. And after searching everywhere it seemed, I finally found these and they’ve been great over the many months I’ve had them!Unlike the cheap glasses I got from Target, these have held up very well and haven’t broken in the dishwasher for no apparent reason. Though some have broken, it was only after my cats decided to knock some onto a terrazzo floor — which would have broken just about anything made of glass.I will happily replace them, though, because I have not seen a better set of glasses for this price. They even have a great feel to them, both holding and drinking.
Great glasses Very nice glasses – nice and heavy base so they don’t fall over too easily. There isn’t any funky groove in the bottom either so when they come out of the dishwasher they are clean; no funky residue hanging around on the inverted bottom. Not too pricey either I don’t think – of course I ain’t exactly the type who buys fancy glasses, so take that for what it’s worth. I’ll buy more when the time comes!
Perfect and hefty I just wanted some solid general purpose nice glasses and like one of the other reviewers I wanted something simple (no designs, grooves, dimples or any of that). I admit, I found them outside of amazon at one of the home stores and impulse bought them. I’ve been so pleased with them that it warranted making a review here.Note, they are pretty hefty. Even empty they have quite a mass to them compared to a lot of glasses. But I really like the extra weight since they don’t feel cheap at all (even though they are very affordable IMO).
